A Message From Our Dean
As a Center of Excellence, the School of Nursing is focused on developing a diverse nursing workforce, fostering connections among students and sharing solutions for integrating evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
As a Center of Excellence, the School of Nursing is focused on developing a diverse nursing workforce, fostering connections among students and sharing solutions for integrating evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
We have endured and persevered through changing educational and health care landscapes, and we’ll advance into the future with hope and ambition.
Our undergraduate and graduate nursing students need patient-facing experiences to practice what they have learned and formulate treatment and communication strategies for the future, supervised by experienced and encouraging mentors.
I am continuously grateful for and inspired by the ways our faculty and staff, students, alumni, partners and donors demonstrate their commitment to our mission of preparing professional nurse leaders who will transform the nursing profession and patient care.
Thank you to everyone who has helped the School of Nursing in our quest to remain resilient in the face of every challenge and continue to make tremendous impacts at the local, state, national and global level.
